When using this template, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- The accuracy of the information is only as reliable as the editors contributing.
- Initially, the reported abundance may be exceptionally higher or lower than normal. This will normalize as the sample size of total kills rises above an acceptable level.
- The current "acceptable" level is 100 reports. Abundances with less than 100 reports will only be displayed in the hovertext.
- Once this value exceeds 500 reports, the abundance is considered reasonably reliable and will no longer be displayed in gray.
- When adding abundance information to a given page, be sure to increase the total number for all the items using this template.
- Also, when reporting your abundances, be sure to add your results to the existing tally, instead of replacing them. For example, if the current tally is 3/45, and your results are 1/6, then the new value should read 4/51.
